The short version
PocketCyprus has no user accounts, stores no personal data, and asks you for nothing. You can read every page anonymously.
What we collect
Standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) are kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, then aggregated into anonymous counts. Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner; decline and nothing is loaded at all. If accepted, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand which pages are useful. You can change your mind by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Cookies and storage
The site stores two preferences in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice and your analytics consent answer. Neither leaves your device.
Outbound links
Links to booking platforms (such as Booking.com or GetYourGuide) are clearly presented. Once you leave PocketCyprus, the destination site's privacy policy applies. Affiliate links may include an identifier that tells the platform the visit came from us; it contains nothing about you.
